Surfing Myrtle Beach since 1996, today the Todd Brothers operate as a team to bring the highest quality paddle sport tours and surf lessons in Myrtle Beach. That is, when they are not surfing professionally or traveling the globe. As life-long surfers, their goal is to spread love for the environment and a healthy lifestyle of fun exercise by teaching, guiding, and making available some of this beach’s top water sports. Salt water runs in their veins.
The brothers were born and raised in North Myrtle Beach where they began surfing at the young age of five and never looked back. At 12, they were surfing contests and by the age of 18 began surfing on a professional level. While Palmer and Wyatt stayed in Charleston attending college, Brandon decided to gain real world experience and began the lifestyle of a professional surfer. He traveled to exotic places and competed in surf competitions all while searching for the perfect wave. As a way to giveback to his community and the sport that had first inspired him, he decided to begin Kokopelli Surf Camp. We are an organization that aims to bring Myrtle Beach the best surfing lessons, as well as stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking lessons, tours, and, rentals. The other Todd Brothers eventually joined in and it has been a family-owned business ever since.
My grandson took a private lesson while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. Brandon was helpful in getting us to the correct beach. Graham was a fun and attentive instructor. We rented the board for the afternoon and when we were done they returned to pick it up in a timely manner. Great experience at a very reasonable price.
– Sherri A | TripadvisorGraham was so nice, patient. First time surfing for my Michigan niece who is 11. She got up quite a few times. Waves not too bad, shallow too. My husband and brother in law also went. Hour and a half lessons. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Make sure you tip these instructors! 😀 We met him at the 39th Ave beach. It ended at the beach entrance. Public parking a block back.?
– dolittledigger | TripadvisorTook wife who is petrified of water activities out in tandem kayak. Wyatt the lead guide and 2 others kept entire group safe and together. 2 daughters first time on paddle boards the female guide was extremely patient as my daughter was last in tow but got her through it and she wants to do it again. Definitely recommend as a family outing very professional and safe
– Thomas L | TripadvisorInstructor (Jerry) was super friendly and engaging during our private lesson. Had a blast and would definitely recommend their lessons.
– Suchir | TripadvisorWe did the Salt Marsh Kayak tour. As a family of four with an eight year old and a 12 year old it was the best experience! Well prepared, guides were excellent!!
– Mrs G | TripadvisorSo this was my second time in my life kayaking experience and it was great! Tour guides were professional, competent and helpful. The route to the island was really exciting. Somehow I managed to turn it into a one-man racing event and I am very thankful to the guides for being patient with me constantly paddling away from the group lol. Made a decision to buy my own kayak after this. If you haven’t tried kayaking please do it with those guys, it is a lot of fun.
